Are you interested in moving to and investing in New Zealand? You may be eligible for the Active Investor Plus Visa, which is also known as the Investor Category.
The Active Investor Plus Visa allows you to live, work and study in New Zealand indefinitely if you have at least $15 million NZD in cash or the equivalent in assets or funds that you will invest in acceptable investments. After keeping your investment within New Zealand for 4 years you will be eligible to apply for permanent residence.
After being approved for this visa, you will be given 6 months to transfer and invest your funds in New Zealand.
Investments that meet the NZD $15 million threshold are assigned varying weights. This means that it is possible to meet this threshold through a combination of acceptable investments. The highest weighting is given to direct investments in a private business, meaning you could meet the investment threshold by investing $5 million NZD into direct investments.
Think you meet the criteria? Talk to us today and we can help you through the process of applying for the Active Investor Plus Visa.
