Andrea Coia

Andrea has an extensive background in administration from PA and project coordinator roles in the Insurance and Health sectors, through to working as a Conveyancing Secretary at a law firm in Whitby, England. Having recently returned to New Zealand following a 10 year stint in North Yorkshire, England, Andrea joins the Pier Law team and looks forward to putting her organisational skills to use.

On her weekends you’ll find Andrea in her garden or spending time with her family and friends.  She’s been involved in a number of charities with volunteering roles including a Night Duty Manager at Ronald MacDonald House, support worker for Dementia Forward UK, and being one of the founding members of Selwyn Parenting Network which was set up to provide support networks, events and education to caregivers and families.

Widely known fact: With a love of history and architecture Andrea loves to get out and explore.  Whether it is castles and gardens in Europe or driving the country roads and exploring the beautiful scenery of Aotearoa in her MX5.

Little known fact: During her time in the UK she worked on Captain Cooks  Endeavour replica in Whitby Harbour as well as in Aidensfield, Heartbeat country.
